Click here to access the request form. Let us know a little bit about your reading tastes – your favorite (and least favorite) books and authors, and what kinds of books you’re in the mood to read. A readers’ advisory librarian will create a custom booklist for you based on your responses. Your list will include up to five titles and will arrive by email within a week.

Whether you’re interested in steampunk fiction, survival stories, business, or true crime, we’ve put together lists of great books with direct links to our catalog. Or visit our Books page for links to lists of books on order, most-requested titles, current bestsellers, and literary award winners.
Staff Reviews
To see what library staff members are reading, browse our Staff Reviews page. Sort the reviews by most recent, highest rated, or most discussed, or you can browse by genre or search for a specific tag. While you’re looking, be sure to leave your rating and comments when you come across something you’ve read.
Book Groups
We host book discussion groups at the Central library and several branch libraries. Check out the online schedule to see what these groups are reading. You’ll find lots of great titles – not only excellent literary fiction, but also some great mysteries, science fiction, and narrative nonfiction.
In Person
And don’t forget: one of the best ways to get great reading suggestions is to come in or call your local library and chat with a librarian. Don’t be afraid to ask…we love talking about books!
